Some quick tips on scholarships:

  • Many organizations do not receive many applications.  Students should apply for as many relevant scholarships that they find.
  • Aim high, but don’t ignore “smaller” scholarships – even $100 or $250 can help keep expenses and borrowing down.
  • Be careful of scams.  Never pay a fee when completing a scholarship application.  Legitimate organizations typically do not charge a fee.
